Kevin and Lindsay are lifelong season ticket holders on opposite sides of one of Glasgow’s greatest rivalries. Kevin is a committed Celtic supporter, and Lindsay a proud Rangers fan. Known for their friendly banter and shared love of the game, the couple are now taking their rivalry to a whole new level, all in support of Revive MS Support.

What began as attending each other’s matches in the opposite colours at previous events has now evolved into something more ambitious. This July, Kevin and Lindsay will visit both Ibrox Stadium and Celtic Park on the same day, each proudly wearing their own team colours, to raise funds and awareness for Revive MS Support.

Kevin was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis almost 20 years ago and has been supported by Revive MS Support throughout much of that journey. He accesses services regularly and speaks warmly about the difference they have made to his wellbeing, independence, and confidence.

“Revive MS has been a huge lifeline for me,” Kevin said. “From making friends with others in the same situation to receiving support that helps with the daily struggles MS can bring, it’s made a real difference to my life. The yoga classes have been especially important. Not just for physical wellbeing, but for the friendships and sense of community.”

Lindsay has also seen the impact of Revive first-hand, both in supporting Kevin and in deepening her own understanding of MS.

“I’ve benefited from Revive too, in learning more about the condition and recognising the mental challenges that aren’t always obvious,” she said. “My nana had MS for most of her life, so I already knew a bit about it, but supporting Kevin has made me even more determined to help in any way I can.”

Together, they hope their unique challenge will raise ÂŁ1,000 for Revive MS Support, while also shining a light on the importance of specialist support services for people affected by MS.

Their stadium tour will begin at Ibrox at 12pm on 4th July, before continuing to Celtic Park at 3:30pm the same day.

In true football rivalry fashion, Kevin couldn’t resist adding some humour ahead of the day:

“Ibrox won’t take that long to get round since they’ve only been around since 2012!”

Despite the playful rivalry, both are united in their purpose and looking forward to sharing the experience together.

At Revive, we are incredibly grateful to Kevin and Lindsay for their creativity and humour in taking on this unique fundraising challenge to support more people affected by MS. Stories like theirs highlight not only the importance of our services, but also giving back in meaningful ways.

We wish them the very best of luck on their challenge and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way!
