The young Revive group was set up to bring together clients under the age of 35 to meet one another, have fun and provide mutual support. The group is facilitated by our counsellors, but is very informal and the ideas for it – including the name MSYT – have come from the members.
We warmly welcome new members and are now holding some of the meetings online to make it easier for people who can’t get to the Revive centre to attend.

Members so far have commented:
“I’d love for the group to continue so me and other younger people my age could talk about MS. It’s really nice to have others that completely get it and I’d love to have wee movie nights or even a wee trip to the cinema. I’ve made friends with H and it’s cool to have someone that gets it and she was my age when I was diagnosed.”
“For the last 10 years I’ve really felt as if I’m on my own with MS, with nobody roughly the same age as me, but attending these meetings has given me reassurance that I’m not on my own.”“I would say it’s worth it just for, you know, meeting other people that are in the same boat. We’re all kind of open. And we don’t always talk about MS-related stuff. And it’s a good place to get company with the people that get it.”
