
Location: Revive MS Support Centre (Govan) Various event sites across Glasgow
Time Commitment: Flexible – Weekdays, Evenings, and Weekends
Reports to: Rochelle McGuinness, Community and Events Fundraiser
Role Overview
As a Fundraising Volunteer with Revive MS Support, you’ll play a vital role in helping us deliver engaging, impactful events that raise essential funds and awareness for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis. Whether you’re supporting behind the scenes or energizing the crowd on the day, your contribution will help make every event a success.
Key Responsibilities
Event Preparation (Office-based)
- Assemble goodie bags, raffle prizes, and fundraising packs
- Create signage, decorations, and themed materials for events (E.G Christmas Fayre, Ladies Lunch)
- Support with stock checks (Revive Merch), inventory, and packing supplies
- Assist with mail-outs (E.G Christmas Appeal) and promotional materials
- Help maintain a tidy and organized fundraising storage area
Community Promotion
- Distribute collecting cans, posters and leaflets in your local area
- Engage with local businesses for prize procurement
Event Day Support
- Welcome guests and direct then to their table
- Sell raffle/tombola tickets and handle cash donations
- Serve drinks and assist with running food
- Staff cheer points to motivate participants
- Support set-up and break-down of event spaces
- Provide general assistance to the Fundraising team as needed
Skills and Attributes
- Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a team and engaging with the public
- Creative flair
- Willingness to take initiative and adapt to different tasks
Time Commitment
- Preparation tasks: Weekdays between 9am–4pm at our Govan office
- Event days: Flexible shifts available on weekdays, evenings, and weekends
Volunteers can sign up for individual events or ongoing support
