At Revive MS Support, we are always inspired by the dedication of our supporters. One of those supporters is Alexander, who has decided once again to take on the 23-mile challenge at this year’s Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise vital funds for Revive. His motivation comes from the life-changing support his wife, Jennifer, has received from Revive.

“Jennifer has been going to Revive for years,” Alexander shares. “It’s an invaluable lifeline for her, supporting her in so many ways – physically, mentally, and even with financial advice. The exercise classes have not only helped her physically but have also given her the chance to meet and connect with others in a similar situation.”

“The Kiltwalk is more than just a fundraising event – it is a way to stay active while giving back to a charity that has made a real difference in my family’s life. Doing the walk is a great way to keep our own exercise going. I get plenty of walking in before the big day. Every step has a great impact”

“It’s a great way to raise money for Revive. It’s well-organised, with food and snack stops along the way, and food waiting at the finish line and thankfully, there are always plenty of toilets! You always end up chatting with people along the route, hearing their stories about why they’re walking, which keeps you going.”

Alexander encourages anyone thinking about signing up to take the plunge and give it a go.

“If you’ve already signed up, enjoy the day – it’s a fantastic experience. If you haven’t yet, I’d highly recommend it. Every step you take helps Revive continue to provide support for people like Jennifer.”
