Exercise Classes

We offer a range of exercise classes designed specifically for individuals living with MS. Our classes use specialist gym equipment and cater to all abilities, from seated exercises to more advanced strength and mobility workouts, ensuring everyone can find a class that suits their needs and fitness level.

Led by our Physiotherapists and Support Workers, each class is tailored to help improve flexibility, fitness, balance, strength, and overall wellbeing.

Yoga

Our yoga classes are gentle, calming sessions specifically designed for people with MS. Focusing on flexibility, balance, and relaxation, our experienced instructors will guide you through modified poses and breathing exercises in sitting, standing then on the floor.

Our yoga class will help reduce tension, improve mobility, and create a sense of inner calm.

Tai Chi

Our Tai Chi class is a gentle, flowing practice. The class focuses on slow, controlled movements that promote balance, flexibility, and mental clarity. This ancient martial art is adapted to suit all abilities, whether you’re standing or seated, making it accessible for everyone.

By practicing Tai Chi, participants can experience reduced stress, improved coordination, improved strength, better balance and greater body awareness.

Pilates

Our Pilates classes offer a safe and effective way to build core strength, improve posture and balance and enhance overall body control. This class is designed to accommodate a range of abilities, with modified exercises that can be performed either standing, seated or lying down.

Pilates helps increase flexibility, balance, and muscle endurance, all while reducing fatigue.

MSYT

MSYT is our regular group for people aged under 35 with MS.  We have formal and less formal meetings both at Revive, at outside venues and virtually. We would warmly welcome new members.

Mindfulness

Our Mindfulness class is designed to help people with MS manage stress, anxiety, and the emotional challenges that can come with living with MS. Through guided meditation, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques, participants learn to cultivate mindfulness, bringing greater awareness to the present moment. This practice can help reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and foster a sense of calm and emotional resilience.

Fatigue Management

Our Fatigue Management class is specifically designed to help people with MS better understand and manage one of the most common and challenging symptoms of MS – fatigue.

Led by experienced professionals, this class provides practical strategies and tools to help you conserve energy, improve daily functioning, and prioritise activities. Participants will explore techniques for pacing, rest management, and balancing physical and mental demands, all within a supportive group setting.
