April 20, 2026

MS Awareness Week runs from 20th -26th April 2026, and this year we’re asking our community to help us make MS visible in your local area, shops or workplace.
More than 17,500 people in Scotland are living with Multiple Sclerosis, which has one of the highest prevalence rates in the world. At Revive MS Support, we’re here for every single one of them. But we can only reach the people who need us if they know we exist, and that’s where you come in.
This week, we’re sharing three simple, practical ways you can get involved and together they can make a real difference to people living with MS across Scotland.

One of the most powerful things you can do is help us reach people in the places they visit every day. Displaying a Revive MS Support poster in your local community is a small action that makes a real, physical difference and putting MS in front of people who might never have heard of us, or who might need our support right now and don’t know where to turn.
Think local noticeboards, hairdressers, cafés, libraries, community centres, your workplace, anywhere people gather near you. Every poster that goes up is another chance for someone living with MS to find us.
Posters and flyers are free to collect from Revive MS Support reception. If you’re unable to get to the centre, you can request some by emailing us at info@revivemssupport.org.uk or calling us on 0141 945 3344 and we’ll be happy to send some out to you.

Revive MS Support is the only charity in Scotland providing this level of support for people living with MS. We exist because of our community, and the funding raised through collection cans goes directly towards the life-changing services that people rely on, services that simply aren’t available anywhere else.
Hosting a collection can is one of the simplest ways to make a difference. Every single pound raised helps keep our services running for the people who need them most.
Here’s how it works:
If you’d like to host a collection can but can’t get to the centre, email us at info@revivemssupport.org.uk or call 0141 945 3344 and we’ll arrange to send one out to you.
Too many people living with MS in Scotland don’t know that free, life-changing support is available to them. There’s no need to wait for a GP referral and anyone affected by MS can self-refer to Revive MS Support. But they can only do that if they know we’re here.
This MS Awareness Week, we’re asking you to help spread the word in whatever way feels natural to you. Mention us at work, bring us up with friends or family, share our social media posts, or simply tell someone that we exist. A conversation costs nothing, but it could mean everything to someone who’s been struggling alone and doesn’t know where to turn.
Ways to get the word out:
Help us make MS visible in your community. One small action can make a huge difference!
