Miss Scotland, Amy Scott, is stepping up in support of people living with multiple sclerosis as she prepares to lead the Glasgow Kiltwalk on Saturday 26 April in aid of Revive MS Support.

Amy, who was crowned Miss Scotland last year, will be walking for Revive to not only raise awareness, but also raise vital funds for people affected by MS across Scotland. The cause is close to her heart as her cousin Rhyiza lives with the condition.

“MS has touched my life personally after seeing Rhyiza live with MS, so I’ve seen how challenging it can be” said Amy. “Revive MS Support provides incredible help to people at all stages of life with MS – from physiotherapy to emotional and financial support. I’m proud to be walking for such a life-changing charity.”

Recently, Amy visited the Revive centre, where she met with staff and service users to hear first-hand how the charity supports people with MS every day.

Iain McWhirter, CEO of Revive MS Support said:

“We’re delighted that Amy is not only taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk for Revive – she’s leading the walk from the start line. Her voice helps shine a light on the real impact MS can have and the importance of the MS specialist support that we offer.”

The Glasgow Kiltwalk is one of Scotland’s biggest fundraising events, bringing together thousands of walkers to raise money for charities that matter to them. Amy will join the walk from the start line at 11am on Saturday 26 April.
