Menopause and MS can bring some similar symptoms, including fatigue, sleep problems, bladder changes, mood changes and difficulties with memory and concentration. This can sometimes make it difficult to know whether a change in how you’re feeling is related to MS, menopause, or both.
Hormonal changes during menopause can also bring symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep disturbances and changes in mood, which may make some existing MS symptoms feel more difficult to manage.
Everyone’s experience of MS and menopause is different. At Revive, we’re here to provide information, advice and support to help women understand and manage the changes that can come with this stage of life, while living with MS.
