We’re thrilled to be part of an exciting new research project that explores how Virtual Reality (VR) can support movement and therapy for people living with MS.

Hannah Milne, a PhD student from the Doctoral Training Centre at Glasgow Caledonian University, is leading a study to co-design VR games specifically for upper limb rehabilitation.

Aims of the project

The study aims to develop virtual reality games for people with moderate to severe MS which can be played independently at home and allow our therapists at the Revive centre to remotely give patients feedback on their rehabilitation progress.

Who Can Participate

  • People with MS who either walk with a walking aid or use a wheelchair
  • People who are experiencing arm/hand impairment of any kind (e.g pain, muscle stiffness, tremor)

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to something innovative that could shape the future of therapy at Revive. By taking part in the focus groups, you’ll help ensure the games are engaging, effective, and tailored to the needs of people with moderate to severe MS.
