More than 17,000 people (approximately 1 in 300) are living with multiple sclerosis in Scotland – the highest prevalence of any country in the world.
Revive MS Support is a Glasgow-based charity providing vital person-centred support to people affected by MS. Established in 1984 by people living with MS and their families, our mission is to be a caring and inclusive community where everyone affected by MS can find physical, emotional, financial, and social support. We provide a range of clinical and non-clinical services designed to promote independence, improve quality of life, and address inequality.
We do this by providing a full range of services to improve the wellbeing of everyone affected by MS. These include physiotherapy and exercise classes, counselling, advice and information from our MS Specialist Nurse’s, complementary therapies, speech and language therapy, support groups, oxygen therapy, and welfare & benefits advice. All our services are free to access not only for the person living with MS, but also their family and carers.
We have ambitious plans to reach more people affected by MS. To support this next stage of our development, we are seeking an experienced Lead Physiotherapist to join our team.
