We are looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our team to work as part of our Physiotherapy team at our centre in Govan.
More than 17,500 people live with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in Scotland, the highest prevalence of any country in the world.Â
Revive MS Support’s mission is to be a caring and inclusive community where everyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can find physical, emotional, financial, and social support. Our centre in Govan is open to everyone affected by MS, and is a place to find support, friendship, and hope.
We do this by providing a full range of services to improve the wellbeing of everyone affected by MS throughout Greater Glasgow. These include physiotherapy and exercise classes, counselling, advice and information from our MS Specialist Nurse’s , complementary therapies, speech and language therapy, support groups, oxygen therapy, and welfare & benefits advice. All our services are free to access not only for the person living with MS, but also their family and carers.
We have ambitious plans to reach more people affected by MS, and to ensure we achieve our goals we are looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our growing team.
Title – Healthcare support worker – PhysiotherapyÂ
Contract: Permanent
Salary: ÂŁ25,844 (pro rata)Â
Hours: 30 (9.30am – 3.30pm with ½ hour paid lunch break) Monday – Friday
Location: Revive MS Support, Govan, Glasgow
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work alongside the Physiotherapists and the team of Healthcare Support Workers at the centre to improve the quality of life of our MS clients by maintaining, restoring, and improving clients’ function and movement.

Working hours are 9.30am – 3.30pm, with a half-hour paid lunch break. Your lunch will be provided from our cafe which serves a range of freshly made soups, snacks, toasties and hot drinks.
Employees can join our pension scheme with employer-matched contributions of 3% or 5% of salary, and death-in-service cover is also available.
We have an enhanced sick leave policy and enhanced family friendly policies, i.e., maternity, paternity, and adoption.
Holiday entitlement is 28 days a year (pro rata) of which 3 are taken when the centre closes between Christmas and New Year, along with 10 public holidays.
